On May 22, 1986, St. Theresa's Knights of Columbus Council #9425 was granted charter as a regularly constituted council, with 33 charter members. The first Grand Knight of this Council was Ted Creran (1986-88), who was instrumental in the formation of St. Theresa's Council.
