Fundraising
The CWL members of St. Theresa's parish work together to raise funds for the church as well as for needy persons and charitable organizations such as:
- Alpha House
- Development and Peace
- L'Arche
- Matercare International
- Micah House
- Northern Missions of the Keewatin-Pas area
- Osborne House
- Save a Family Plan
- Seminarian Program
- Villa Rosa
Our fundraising efforts include
- Winter Bake Sale
- Spring Tea
- Perogy-making - Perogy Making and Sales is one of the largest fundraisers in which the CWL participates. You are invited to join us in this activity that is fun, busy and supports our many charities. On Mondays we prepare the potato/cheese filling in the church hall. We start at 9:00 a.m. and will normally end 2.5 hours later. Tuesdays is Perogy Making and we start at 9:00 a.m. and we provide training. This day will take a full four hours.
